WILD TRUFFLE DINNER

At $14,000 per kilogram tops! Truffles are the most expensive mushroom around. Famed French chef, Brillat-Savarin named them 'the diamonds of the kitchen' for a good reason. When I was in Northern Italy, my most memorable meal was a 6 course white Alba truffle feast, the umami aromas from the truffles left me drooling after every course.
