I replace lemon juice in my dishes with oregon grape juice whenever I can. Not only is it a local sustainable option, but it's juice is magenta which is fun to play with and it's flavour is more nuanced. They're ripe right now because of our crazy weather, so go gather a handful, pulse them in the
food processor and squeeze out the juice. Use as you would lemon or lime in vinaigrettes, sauces or turn icing pink!
