The habitat of specific lower mainland regions offers us more chances to learn about new edible mushrooms. This cauliflower mushroom was the star of the show today, edible and one of my favourites, it has the texture of a noodle and a bright floral aroma, great in soups. Each class this fall has different instructors and unique habitats to showcase to
continue your education on tasty forest fungi. We've added 2 classes by popular demand in Maple Ridge
(Nov 2+16th) and we'll be bringing our North Shore classes lower in altitude travelling with the mushrooms as temperatures drop. Mushrooms like yellow foot chanterelle, Pacific Golden chanterelle, cauliflower mushroom, coral mushrooms, witches butter and hedgehogs we're showcased at my tour today, who
knows what next weeks treasures will be. The only way you find out is to come outside with us!
