How to Forage For Mushrooms in Vancouver

Greetings ,

It's raining! So what are you going to do now?  Mushroom Hunting!  Great for kids, food nerds and hikers.

Everything you need to know to safely gather, prepare and cook
the unique flavours found only in nature.
Our ever-popular Wild Mushroom Identification Trips are 2-hour trips that include a walk through BC's forest to identify whatever we find; porcini, chanterelles, angel wings, wood ear, jelly fungi, cauliflower or lobster mushrooms, then a chef-prepared gourmet wild lunch in a mountain cabin with tips and tricks on how best to cook all the dozens of different wild mushrooms in the forests.

Book Now!

Price: $39/person + tax/gratuity inc lunch
Times: 10 AM or 12:30 PM

If you can't make any of our weekend dates, we are about to release our Foraging 101 intensive online course - email us if you are interested.

Please note that we aren't allowed to harvest mushrooms from BC Parks, so the trips teach you how to identify mushrooms and cook them.
