#1 Maenam - $30 for a five course, family style feast? What?!... I ate so much fabulous modern Thai food that I nearly exploded. Every dish was mouthwatering, but the crispy chicken salad with pomelo was to die for.
#2 Annalena - $40 for a three course, but it is rated Canada's best new restaurant 2015. So, this is the most affordable option for tasting their fancy-smansy menu
- I haven't been there yet (going Thursday), so you'll have to tell me how it is.
#3 Afghan Horseman - $20! I hadn't been back here in years, so this was a great excuse. You get to sit on pillows, pretend your somewhere exotic and bring your vegetarian friends too. Order the potato boulany served with Chaka (yogurt dip), my fav.
