You're invited to my birthday!  I'm going to be very selfish and make the dishes that I love the most in all the world for this Valentine's day supper club.  Some dishes are inspired by my travels in search of the most mind blowing food; nods to Japan, Italy, Spain and France, of course. Others honour BC's fantastic native ingredients; Oysters, salmon and wild mushrooms.  Join me for my celebration of the love of food.


Valentine's Day with Chef Robin, menu teasers...

  • Black olive breadstick, whipped butter
  • Fresh BC oysters with preserved meyer lemon mignonette
  • Indian candy (sockeye salmon), peanut, papaya, chilli salad
  • Duck egg en cocotte with shavings of local truffles, fennel, green onion, rye crisp
  • Salmon sashimi, Russian garlic, pickled ginger, chive, sorrel
  • Chanterelle ravioli, lemon, cream, pineapple sage, amontillado sherry
  • Chocolate pot de creme, smoked paprika, lemon rind caramel crisp
Remember Valentine's day is not just for lovers, it's my bloody birthday!  So bring your mom, best friend or really anyone you love to celebrate being human and loving food with me.

You're invited to the underground supper club for an intimate dinner in your chefs home, only 20 seats.  Long table seating in the wine cellar room ($99) or 3 private rooms ($199)

Vegetarians!  This is your night to treat yourself and let someone else cook you a succulent feast.  Indulge in a modern twist of traditional vegetarian Greek Cuisine. Enjoy a fresh BC spin on favorites such as kale dolma, tofu souvlaki & deep fried feta saganaki. A main course of Pastitsio (a Greek pasta), cream sauce & eggs.

Only 4 tickets left! Our own Chef Jacob Deacon-Evans (Wildebeest, West, Bishops) creates a lavish truffle dinner at the secret supper club while truffle hunter Brooke Fochuk gives a talk on how she and her dog Dexter finds these expensive underground gems in the forest.  It's like food treasure!
