Spanish Pintxos & Vermouth Party

Published: Tue, 06/28/16

 What's a pintxo?
'Pincho' is a Spanish word meaning to 'pierce', in Basque it would be 'Pintxo'. Que rico! You have a hot or cold snack on a skewer, piercing a piece of bread usually.  It is NOT a tapa, you find those more in southern Spain.

I'm back from my 3 month long food research trip to Spain and am excited to take you on a savoury trip through my travels.  I also want to introduce you to my favourite Spanish traditional pastime, 'La hora del Vermut'.  Yes, 'the hour for drinking vermouth' with friends is a real thing in Spain.  Our own local distillery, The Odd Society will be providing vermouth for you to try.  - Chef Robin
