Truffles are the most expensive mushroom around.  Famed French chef, Brillat-Savarin named them 'the diamonds of the kitchen' for a good reason.  When I was in Northern Italy, my most memorable meal was a 7 course white Alba truffle feast, the umami aromas from the truffles left me drooling after every course.  If you've never tried them here's your chance, we've decided to dedicate a secret supper to truffles of all kinds for your dining pleasure.   Professional truffle hunter, Brooke Fochuk will be there to tell you how to truffle hunt in your own backyard.  YES, BC has wild truffles!
