With over 200 restaurants cooking up a flood in Vancouver for the Dine Out Restaurant Festival 2017, it can be a bit daunting to pick where you're going to get the best eats.  Here are my top picks to help narrow it down for you, if you trust me:) - Chef Robin
  1. Bishops - A Vancouver institution really and eons ahead of the locavore trend and many diners have never been there.  So this is your chance! John Bishop has created a dine out menu for BC seafood lovers, classic.
  2. Maenam - Chef Angus An knocks it out of the park every year.  Go and leave stuffed to the brim with his modern twist on delicious Thai food.
  3. The Vancouver Aquarium - Star Chef Ned Bell creates a 3 course menu in the aquarium bistro as a pop-up restaurant
  4. Secret Supper Soiree of course:) A travelling culinary odyssey set in 1920's Vancouver.  A few tickets left for  this Friday, more info here.

You are invited to an intimate dinner at the secret supper club for Valentine's day. It's a feast inspired by love in your chefs home. So bring your lover, best friend or really anyone you love to celebrate being human and loving food with Chef Erin Vickars (The Vancouver Club, stage at Atelier Crenn) this Valentine's Day.

Bouche: Cold Water Albacore Tuna Tartar
               Green apple, esplette, beet root, creme fraiche
Oysters on the half shell, Riesling pearls, raspberry mignonette

Fresh baked bread, honeycomb , blue cheese butter, herbs, grapes
Ginger Consommé,  Bonito, shiso, red chili.
Braised Short Rib, red wine braise, potato pave, roasted heirloom carrots.
Cheese course - three cheeses, house preserves
Dark Chocolate terrine, cocoa, orange.
