Close your eyes, imagine the comforting aroma of a coconut roti warm in your hand, filled with chef harvested wild herbs. Take a bite and taste zesty tumeric, lime and mild green chili, imagine your in Sri Lanka at the ocean having dinner under the palm trees. Okay, I can't fly you there but we can seat you in our sunny garden in Vancouver and feed you:)
Sri Lankan chef Thoshan is the culinary star behind our next pop-up dinner and the reason I picked him to cook for us is because the delicious food he makes is unlike anything you can get in Vancouver, perfect for a summer garden supper. I'll be foraging for key ingredients for him to use from the coast of BC. Join us! Here is a sneak preview of his menu...
